Fact: Other brand needs a pressure drop of 35 kPa before it works.Minimum line pressure of 140 kPa – max 560 kPa.
Fact: Other brand can only work in a more limited pressure range of 245 kPa to 525 kPa.
No adjustments required – cartridge tube has a partition moulded in place which determines amount of water discharged from the primer. Other brands have primers that require adjustments to deliver different discharge amounts
No air pre-charge required – can be disassembled in the field for cleaning and repair and then put back together.

Trap Priming Distribution Units
Product Description:
The MAG-MIFAB MI-DU Trap Seal Primer Distribution Unit can be installed underneath pressure drop activated trap seal primers to distribute water to up to ten floor drain traps that are near each other.
Example application: when a men and women’s restroom are located side by side with a common pipe chase between them – so one trap seal primer with a distribution unit dialed to the 2 setting can service both floor drain traps.

Brass body with a neoprene rubber poppet float on the inside that rises upward as water flows through primer
When the poppet rises off its seat, water flows from the primer, through the plumbing line connection and into the floor drain trap
Discharges larger amounts of water – needed when water pipes are larger and need a “flow through” or “continuous flow” instead of smaller drops of water
Increased water flow ensures a complete flow cycle through pipes

The MIFAB TSP-2 Series Continuous flow primer discharges larger amounts of water when water pipes are larger and need a complete flow cycle through the pipes – a “continuous flow” instead of smaller drops of water.
MAG’s Electronic trap seal primers automatically maintain the water seal of floor drain traps and are available as a pre-assembled, programmed electronic system. Also available is our Hot Water Flushing System which automatically flushes hot water (or cold water) down waste pipes to prevent grease build up.
